Help! What am I ?!

I have looked at the Gok pages and the Trinny stuff and I am none the wiser. Can a kind MN tell me what shape I am and what clothes would suit me?

I am short - 5ft 3. 10 stone. Measure about 34/30/38. From the front I look hour glass - shoulders and hips balance. I do have a waist, but it is high up. Some muffin top. Legs are ok, good from above my knees down! From the side, I look stocky, I have a big tum which sticks out the same distance as my boobs, and quite a curve to my back, so I look quite wide across my tum/bum.

I like the way clothes look from the front, but HATE the side view. Any advice???

Don't look at the side view. Seriously I never look in a full length mirror

You sound like an hourglass to me. Control pants should do the trick with the tum. Emphasise the bit just under your boobs which is slimmest. V necks, not high necks (I've yet to see a woman who suits a high neck though)

g&t you might be a vase. can't remember the t&s things properly. anyway you have a very small waist, think nigella. are your shoulders square or sloping?

Hmm. I think I am most like Kate Winslett or Sonia from the 1980's! Shoulders are square. I have problems with fitted tops as my waist is high, and they have a waist cut where my big tum is!

I do tend towards things that are slim to my boobs and then flare out a bit, but they do raise the 'is she,isn't she pregnant' glances .

I don'r wear things that expose my shoulders as I feel too chunky/rower-like for that. Aargh!

then maybe you are a goblet? i am one of them and an empire line is a godsend. with slim legged trousers (bootcut makes thighs look fat) or slightly a-line skirt. big shoes to balance out.
