So, someone said that wearing eye make up and lippy makes you look like a transvestite?

I like transvestites, but do you think that's true? they said either emphasise one or the other. If both are drawn attention to, that's the effect. Eyes or lips?

however watching Glastonbury last night i couldnt quite get what Amy Winehouse looked like,kind of man like!

I think that saying is for when you have a lot of both eye makeup and dramatic lipstick.
Either dramatic lipstick and understated eyes, or dramatic eyes and neutral/calm lipstick shade. Not both.

Which you choose to draw the attention to depends on which is your best feature. I tend to do eyes as they are my best feature, and stick to subtle lipstick shades (also I find the subtle shades don't seem to bleed up my liplines as bad as wild shades )

Yes, I tend to do eyes as my best too, but sometimes i want to make my lips sort of French and red, but don't want naked eyes....
