Aftershave / fragrance for an early 20s man?

What do the young guys wear these days? It's a gift but I don't have a huge budget. I would say a woody/sandalwoody fragrance, rather than anything slightly floral like Joop.

Tia for any pointers.

Chanel bleu de Chanel, modern classic imo and less gimmicky than some others. What style does the young man have?

My adult cousin wears this (he’s in west Ireland but works on trawler ships abroad) and is 23. He chose it. My colleague now in early 30s and married bought this when he worked in central gov and in his mid 20s. Showed it to colleagues and me. I approved.

How much is budget ? Dior sauvage is always a winner , yet to meet someone that doesn’t like it , as is Prada ( all of them ) , one million paco rabanne is cheaper and also a very popular choice

zara have some cheaper ones which would go down well
else my son has EMPORIO ARMANI STRONGER WITH YOU PARFUM and gets comments on it

I would have said this too but it’s a bit pricey.

Just bought it for DH’s birthday. Smells like the ocean.

Watching this with interest. Dp is running low on aftershave and is heavily hinting he’d like some more for Christmas. He really likes Prada Black and Carolina Herera Bad Boy. Both are quite strong and I feel like he (me) needs a change 😂
