My friend let me try her moisturiser and it was lovely and I am tempted to get some.

Any good places with reasonable (ish) prices?

I bought some EL cleanser on eBay for about two-thirds of the price once - the woman had pots of it listed regularly ( but no questions asked). It is brilliant but that's the only time I have ever seen it for less than £1,000,000 per ounce.

expatinscotland · 29/06/2008 20:04

Apparently, the Lush Ultrabland cleanser is just as good.

Eve Lom certainly suits me. I tried out the cheaper, very nice and also well-rated Liz Earle instead recently and my skin has really noticed the difference so back to Eve for me
I just buy mine from John Lewis tbh. Quick delivery at least.

I have a 5ml sachets of moisturiser, day cream and rescue mask if you want them? Blagged from Space NK

I've read on here that QVC sells a £20 sampler pot of it as sort of a try before you buy thing and you can return it if it doesn't work for you.

Sanctuary do a similar cleanser - about 10 pounds from Boots

bearmama · 29/06/2008 20:31

I got that free in an offer and didnt like it - was glad i didnt spend £10 on it.
BTW the sachets are free.

M&S does a nice much cheaper version. It's not quite as good as EL but it's better than Liz Earle, I think.

triffictits · 30/06/2008 21:48

bear, can I have your samples? Please, please!

hoxtonchick · 30/06/2008 21:50

do m&s still do their version mi (hello btw)? i vaguely looked for it recently & couldn't find it.

Marina · 01/07/2008 09:17

They discontinued it some time ago hoxty, that's how I acquired my Eve Lom habit in the first place

motherinferior · 01/07/2008 09:19

They're doing a new version! Honestly.

motherinferior · 01/07/2008 09:24

Hester put me on to it. It's got a blue top. Hang on, will search...it's the Formula Revival Deep Cleansing Balm. It is in stock, I bought some a couple of weeks ago!

Marina, I have you to thank for my new Darphin habit...

hoxtonchick · 01/07/2008 09:54

marvellous!

Marina · 01/07/2008 09:54

heheheheh - thanks for the heads-up about the new version MI, I loved that old one so much
I will now say, Avene Thermale and leave the thread

After reading so much about Eve Lom cleanser I took the plunge, but it gave me the worst spots I have ever had, had to give it away. Don't use with combination skin!

DonutMum · 01/07/2008 10:17

It's fab.

FritziGreenEyes · 01/07/2008 10:32

The smell of the cleanser really put me off...
