Which Christmas beauty advent calendar

Sorry for the ramble, but I’m not sure how much information is needed to get some advice!

I want to surprise my mum with a beauty advent calendar for Christmas, as she mentions them every year and they always seem to sell out early. She loves skincare, particularly Olay, but doesn’t really know how to branch out. She owns a few more expensive products, but her collection is quite random. I keep trying to convince her that a Skin + Me subscription would be better, especially as she has the biggest skincare bag you’ve ever seen!

I should add that she looks amazing for her age. People often think she’s about 20 years younger, despite her being a complete sun worshipper. She has followed some form of skincare routine since she was a teenager.
She also loves makeup. We previously bought her a Charlotte Tilbury Christmas chest so she could try a selection of products, as well as an Urban Decay eyeshadow palette that is still going strong. She loves eyeshadow and bronzer but doesn’t wear foundation.

I’m trying to work out which beauty advent calendar would be best for her. Does anyone have any recommendations? She’ll love trying new products, and I know my dad will never organise one unless I buy it and convince him otherwise! Either way, I’ll be the one choosing it, so recommendations please!

Why not get her a skin + me subscription instead? Advent calendars are nothing but packaging and tiny products.

Don’t get her a subscription you approve of, get her an advent calendar as it’s a luxury splurge. If you have the budget the liberty one, otherwise something like the John Lewis or Elemis one.

Elemis

You need to take pictures of yourself for the skin and me one, might convince her to try it for three months as I have a code already been a member.

I wanted to splurge and get her a really nice one. I’ve been looking at spaceNK and liberty london! She has expensive taste so I know she’ll love it

A lot of the more premium advent calendars have full sized products.

Possibly differwnt circs as my mother is very elderly, but I bought her the M&S one last year and she was thrilled. Having a lottle something to open every day really boosted her and the producrs were mostly good and it's relatively inexpensive. I bought it for her late October birthday, ready to start on 1st December.

My mum is 68 but acts likes she 48 🤣🤣

She still working because she loves it, goes to the gym 5 x a week. On holiday all the time with my dad. Also out at gigs and socialising all the time.
