Cosy joggers anyone?

Looking for some sort of cosy and or fleecy jogger. Something to wear about the house this winter but suitable for a quick trip to Tesco without looking like I am in my pjs.
Open hem style rather than a cuff or elasticated hem.

Oh and not mid rise or low slung if possible.

Any recommendations?

i don’t know what size you are but I have two pairs of joggers from the children’s section of M&S. They are the super soft ones and are just so soft!

Im a size 8-10 and fit in the age 13-14, I’ve also bought a lovely soft pair from Tesco recently. Neither are cuffed.

ChillWith · 10/09/2026 21:24

Uniqlo joggers are great. About £25 a pair but keep shape and wash well

How long are they? The model is 6 feet tall and they're still dragging on the ground for her.

Edit: just saw someone asked the same thing.

Edited

I don’t find they drag on the floor at all so I think the photo is quite misleading if they’re saying the model is 6ft! She must be slouching or something. I am 5ft 7 and just wear normal trainers with them and they don’t drag on the ground, they stop just above / on my trainers. Perfect.

I’ve got these ones from Next. They are cuffed but they don’t ride up, and they do an open leg style too. Next, also. do some barrel leg joggers which I’m quite tempted by.

MyCrushWithEyeliner · 10/09/2026 23:58

I’ve not ordered them yet, but hoping to buy a pair, or two, soon. Sorry, can’t tell you what they’re like but good reviews.

Following with interest. On the same quest for a pair of joggers or tracksuit style thing I can wear running errands as well as wear indoors. I ordered a comfrt set - I’ve never ordered and hoping it will be comfortable but I’ll feed back.

TheDogsMother · 11/09/2026 08:49

I got a couple of nice pairs from Hush.

If budget allows I would recommend Varley. Super soft and feel luxurious.

shanghainights · 11/09/2026 10:55

All these " buttery" soft joggers are basically the same and every shop has them currently. If it's just for work ( who sees your bottom on a teams call) and the supermarket I wouldn't be paying Varley prices. I have a lovely buttery set from new look and ordinary ones wide leg from Primark.

AnchorWHAT · 11/09/2026 14:02

I bought a burgundy pair and a sweatshirt type matching top from Primark recently, modal fabric but so cosy and comfy and smart enough to put on with a bit of jewellery or dress down with fluffy socks. Apart from a bit of colour run in the first wash they wash well, no need to iron in fact i wish id bought a second set in a different colour.

MiffyPurple · 11/09/2026 16:38

I love Llama Leisure. So comfortable.

Let me introduce you to Arne. They’re a British company that offer a lot of mix and match clothing in a range of classic / neutral
shades. I have these joggers in slate and they’re very thick and warm. I would say they’re too warm for the summer months. They have a range of active wear that also looks fantastic - very clean design. No garish prints.

agree with this. The heatech ones are so cosy.

spreadandsprinkles · 11/09/2026 19:43

Some great info on joggers, thanks everyone. I may try some cuffed ones if they don't ride up.
Of to Primark. Marks and H&m tomorrow

Also depending what dress size you are , a tip that I read on here is that teenage age 15/16 equates to a woman’s size 12 and they’re usually a lot cheaper

Is that definitely true? I used to wear Next girls clothes in a size 15-16 years when I worked there in my early twenties, but I was more like a size 8-10 in womens wear.

VanillaImpulse · 11/09/2026 21:51

Hollister ones are good, sit on the waist and wide legged, very soft.
I find the Primark ones just go bobbly after a few washes and are no longer soft.

BuddhaAtSea · 11/09/2026 22:47

I have these and they are seriously soft and comfortable.

MustTryHarderAndHarder · 11/09/2026 22:51

I have some from Cotton Traders from their unisex range.

OliviaBonas · 11/09/2026 22:57

I’ve got some from Asda recently.

Devilsmommy · 11/09/2026 22:57

On the mandm app there are beautiful sweatsuits like you want from a company called board angels. They do them with sweatshirt or hoodie. They'll be amazing in winter as the fleecy lining is toasty warm

maukingmecrazy · 12/09/2026 08:30

Marks and Spencers. I bought a pair of cuffed ones from there a couple of days ago and they are lovely. Also do different leg lengths which is great for my short legs!
