Is wearing several bracelets at once a nice look or too much?

I usually only wear one at a time. My hairdresser wears several at a time , and I think it looks really nice. I went out last night with DHand i wore several bracelets... DH commented "what's that lot on your wrist" .. hmm..

Depends on the person. I’m short and don’t have particularly slender arms, I just look messy with many bracelets. Similarly I can’t carry off long layered clothes or very decorative boho looks. But I love the look on other people.

I wear these three, they are different widths, but all go together, and look lovely on. I think as long as they go together, and don’t look like you’ve just shoved all your bangles on. They work, I’ve long arms which are slender, and it works. I’m not remotely boho or anything.

I agree it depends on the bracelets and the person but generally I quite like it.

Just a word of warning though- I have a diamond tennis bracelet and for about a week wore a number of beaded bracelets as well as a bangle and the rubbing of it all together actually broke the clasp. Thankfully I felt it fall off me and got it repaired.

Years ago I wore black leather type things, a bit of heavy silver.

Now I tend to wear turquoise and gold delicate things, but I have a hippie one I wear with the gold one so that's both together, and they look really nice.

What is your look generally OP? Did your husband think you were expressing a different things wearing more than one bracelet?

I wear several silver chain-style bracelets together, and sometimes combine those with chunky beads. I think it looks quite nice, in a casual, slightly alternative way. But also I can't wear rings (fat arthritic fingers) so I want a bit of bling on me somewhere!

i saw an extremely wealthy woman on the tube wearing about ten gold bangles, all different, all recognisable to me as madly expensive (Cartier/tiffany/van cleef). Honestly it looked amazing. She must have had £50k plus on one wrist.

I’ve never worn bracelets, but this summer started noticing and coveting them. I wanted to buy myself a plain silver bangle for my birthday. Went shopping with a petite friend, and discovered I have very large wrists and couldn’t find one to fit. Then found a second hand shop with lots that fitted. I bought 2 because they looked well together. They make me happy.

Wearing a "stack" of bangle type bracelets is very popular with the younger crowd.. I sell quite a few on Debop..

I think it looks best if the bracelets are all the same type and better still if they are bangles of the same diameter. Although they don’t necessarily have to be the same colour or width. When I was in India, I saw some fantastic examples of this style.

I wear two all the time, one sentimental silver bead bracelet and a diamond tennis bracelet. I would like to get a third bracelet but haven’t seen what I want yet.

I'd say bangles can be good in multiples, depending on their styling. Bracelets less so. A single statement bangle or bracelet is nice. Statement in a bangle could be an oversized resin one or chunky silver. In a bracelet, something in gold or an unnusual setting in silver or costume jewellery. Multiple beaded stretchy bands are now a bit dated

I don’t like wearing jewellery, can’t stand the feeling of it touching me but I like the look of several quite dainty ones on one wrist. My mum used to drip in heavy jewellery back in the 90’s, it was quite a strong look!! She still wears quite a bit now but a bit more delicate.

I wear ALL my bracelets at once, but only when giving Crystal ball readings. 🔮

Have always loved it - especially on women like Tina Chow & Wendy Dagsworthy. Delicate bracelets are pretty en masse too - but I love big cuffs & bangles all piled on ...

I'm very minimalist when it comes to jewellery, but I like the look of stacked bracelets on other women. They'd annoy me on me for sensory reasons, but I wish I could wear this look.

I often wear several bracelets together.

I'm a bit of an ageing hippy and wear a few at once, mainly glass beads or leather. I love the look of lots of silver bangles, but can't cope with the jangling.

I wear tons!!!! On 24/7 are 3 silver bracelets on each arm, plus a triple wrap garnet bead and silver bracelet.

then on bangle days, I put about 7 one each arm, jingle jangle heaven. I love them!

I also have jangly coin bracelets from my granny, they are awesome!

I wear three delicate chains, two gold and one silver, and I’m currently coveting a welded gold bracelet!
