Zara faux suede belted jacket versus F&F jacket

Please help me decide between the two!
In Autumn and Winter my social life is pretty much going out during the day for cafe type lunches or days out with DH and my elderly Dad. I am a youngish 53 year old and have semi retired. When I do work, it's from home. Day to day im dressed in gym wear (as I go to the gym three times a week) unless I am going out to meet a friend.
I already have the Tesco jacket. The tan colour looks gorgeous against my blonde hair and skin colour. But I've just sent for the Zara one. It looks heavier and better quality. But is it too dramatic for my lifestyle? Is it too overdressed to wear over leggings and trainers?

I prefer the jacket on the left but then I have never liked ties like that on jackets and coats. Could wear it over leggings if you were wearing a short top.

It’s not overdressed at all.

Thats the part of it I'm not sure about. Its elasticated at the back so at least I dont have to worry about straightening it at the back. But it can't really be worn open unlike the Tesco one. I've sent for it anyway so I will try it on at home and see.

One on the left is better in my opinion

I mean right!

They're so similar, I wouldn't bother getting the Zara one as well as the F&F one. I'd get something in a different style or colour for more versatility.

I love the look of belted coats, but in reality I find they crumple whatever you have on underneath due to the belt.

I like the Zara one but I prefer this dark brown one from new look. Plus points, they often do 25% or 30% off which would make it a bargain. I love the colour and the sleeves

Oooh. New Look have some nice stuff in at the moment dont they? I have already treated myself to a cream bomber jacket from there. I will have a look....
