I have this dress and a daytime wedding to go to, what cover up/jacket would work (if any)?!

Please help.

It’s a bit early in the year for them, but Monsoon/sometimes Marks often have lovely embellished velvet jackets in the run up to Christmas.

I like the little boucle one that @LemonTT posted too.

I don't think a jacket in a block colour that's another single but different shade of green would work at all. The first jacket is also corduroy not velvet, which to me isn't really wedding-appropriate.

If it's sooner rather than later in the year, you might get away with something lightweight? One Hundred Stars jackets have become rather ubiquitous, but in this particular instance might work quite well, especially as they're loose enough to fit easily over the sleeves of the dress - that's if the green element to the pattern is the right shade to tie in ok.

Good - I think it would work well with the dress if the colours are ok in the flesh. There are actually two versions there, but I think they may both be lightweight. In which case, if it's cold, you could always sneak a fine wool or cashmere cream cardi with wide short sleeves underneath ...? Or take a big off-white fine pashmina-style scarf for getting between venues? Wrap it around your neck though, not around your shoulders as that's a bit dated IMO ...!

This one might also work if the green is the right shade. Again, like the one with the blue edge above, it's a cotton-linen blend so it's only lightweight.

The short kimonos are a viscose blend. I had a quick look through the other prints & still think this is the best option. Although others have green in them, they're definitely the wrong shades of green, whereas this one might work.

There is also a duster jacket, but I'm not sure if the shape would work with your dress. And an artisan coat version, which I am certain would not.

Oh that One Hundred Stars jacket is a great find!

They do the duster jacket (for more warmth) in this material which has tiny bits of the right green in it but more generally is the right palette (I think?) to go with the dress. And because it’s multi coloured gives plenty of options for shoes bags and wearing on other occasions.

Having said that, I’m not sure if suzani really goes with the dress style - but as more of the dress is covered I’m not sure how much it matters.
