So fed up of having pink eyelids

I know, it’s a random title - I am very fair and my eyelids are always pink, and pink veins. My DD is the same, people often say’ oh your pink eyeshadow is cute’
sick of looking like a lab rat
I wear foundation on my eyelids every day, and also eyeshadow if going to work or out.
is there anything that will help, or a longer term solution?
I’ve googled eyelid tattoos before but doesn’t look like it’s a thing…
it’s not inflammation or irritation at all, just that my skin is very transparent.

Have you tried a colour corrector? I would try a bit of primer and a green colour corrector.
I have very pale skin and I am quite blue around my eyes. I use dove fake tan for face in fair/medium which doesn’t give me much of a tan, but does help even out my skin tone a bit.

My whole eye socket is quite dark. I cover it all with a mac concealer and put a skin colour powder eyeshadow on top, light touch of face powder under to set everything. Sounds a lot but looks quite natural.

Ponderingwindow · 06/09/2026 15:32

Green concealer.

Twoshoesnewshoes · 06/09/2026 16:01

Thanks I’ll try green concealer!

Colour corrector was my first thought too, I like the bobbi brown one. Lighter than a concealer or foundation.

Sparkles29 · 07/09/2026 15:13

@FlurCan I ask the actual name of the Mac eye concealer? My eyelids are
also quite dark

Illegally18 · 07/09/2026 16:00

In fact you could use the foundation or concealer you already have and powder it.

Im quite jealous of people when I see this.

HiI have this. I used to get told off in school for wearing eyeshadow but it was just my eyelid colour.

Get the pro long wear in "painterly"

I wear it every day even when not wearing makeup

It acts as an eyeshadow primer too

It looks more pink on the website. In real life t is totally neutral.

I put it on using my finger, all the way from my eyelashes up to my brows if I'm doing full eyeshadow.

If I'm not wearing makeup up I may just put it on the lids themselves.
