Absolue Rose From The Dark Lancôme

I sprayed this perfume at the airport yesterday and it was absolutely gorgeous but it's £230 which is way, way out my budget.

It took me a while to realise it was rose (I didn't see the name of it and had to search for it online!) so I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for rose perfumes that aren't in your face rose.

I already have a Stella McCartney one but I want something that isn't so obviously rose! This really was a gorgeous perfume which also had a slightly parma violet smell (another scent I love) and was so very luxurious and expensive smelling!

I want to know exactly this too !
I can’t justify the price of the Lancombe one but I can’t find anything similar

I wear Absolue Rose on the Moon so I feel your pain! John Lewis usually have it on offer for £180 before Christmas. Still expensive but better.

Someone mentioned this Laura Ashley perfume the other day and this is its description:

Whether it smells like Parma violets I do not know because it’s not available here but you could give it a sniff!

Dua Brand look to be American and can see a couple of people saying they're not great so don't think I'd want to risk it.
I don't think I could even justify £180. I equate costs like that to flight prices and I'd rather spend it on a holiday! So the Aerin one is out of budget as well sadly.

Get the real one for your Christmas present. I save up my Liberty spend and buy my Frederic Malle perfume with it every year, similar price.

if you can’t justify it, Move on and just spray yourself from head to foot with it every time you go through the airport 😆

I did this with Le Labo, AND a limited edition Gucci which was to die for.

I also used to visit a beautiful H Stern ring in Lisbon airport 2x a month. It was £3500 26 years ago and I loved it, it even fit perfectly as the sales assistant made me try it on once <sigh>

(so maybe look for these in the scent pyramid)

It reminds people of Gucci’s A Song For The Rose; Montale’s Taif Roses and Creed’s Carmina
