Ideas for smart work shoes and office wardrobe updates

I need to refresh my office wardrobe. Size 10-12, 5ft3 and have big feet! I was looking at loafers but feel like they make my feet seem even bigger. I have some ankle boots and a pair of ballerinas but wanted something different and more structured. Would like decent quality but up to £180 ideally. Any ideas?

Also, I have a few wide leg trousers, some are long and some are ankle length. What sort of shoes and socks should I wear with them?

And, generally, where do you get nice clothes for work? My previous role was mainly remote since covid and before that I didn’t have money to get nice things. Now I can afford slightly nicer brands (nothing luxurious!) and need to renew my wardrobe so would like some inspiration, pls!

We don’t know what nicer might mean for you …

Cos?
The Frankie Shop?
Me and Em?
Studio Nicholson?
Margaret Howell?

(All of which will show their clothes styled with whatever footwear they think appropriate.)

Yes, but I often find that suggestions aren’t suitable for my body type/size etc.

Yes I love some of the brands you mentioned above. Also brands like Sezane and similar french/parisian style
