Rockers shoes fit for a 40 year old...

Help me find some rocker styles shoes for my arthritic toes (i swear the rest of me feels and is 40 years old... its just my big toes! )

I got some trainers and they have done wonders to take away the pain of my hallux rigidus, but when I look at dressier shoes I can't find anything that doesn't make me look like my nan in her 80s.

They needs stuff soles and rocker fronts. The more the better. And I need them soon!

I can't help but following as I have the same problem. Bloody painful isn't it?

I thought this was going to be the opposite of Mod shoes.

They have stiff front of shoe and soles that rock up so my toes are not doing any of the work. I also have some running sandals that do the same. They are a godsend. I was ready to have an operation but these have taken the pain away. I just am in agony again after dressing smart.

Maybe... I'm a bit worried they would be too unstable.

So painful! It just feels so frustrating that just walking hurts. I live in my trainers. Considering getting some rocker slippers for the house too...

Sorry you're feet are in pain
My first post was light-hearted
and not making fun of you.
Hope you find the solution.

I wasn't offended by any posts! I have been so invested in finding the right shoes it hadn't occurred to me it wasn't clear to anyone else.
I have the trainers. I just need something dressier in the same shape

Are Fitflop shoes this shape? As they do different styles, not just the original fit flops and trainers .

Me too! Day one back teaching and my hallux is rigid (sorry bad pun) I am due for a fusion and I can bear the thought of it. Advice from me is that if they offer you cheilectomy take it as I declined 12 years ago and now need a fusion.

I have grade 3 Hallux Rigidus
