Are Boden trouser prices becoming too expensive for smart casual basics?

Looking at their new autumn clothes. A pair of straight leg cords are £85. some slightly wider leg are £110. Even with their usual 15% Or 20% discounts these seem pricey.

I am a bit obsessed with Boden trousers as I live in smart/casual-ish trousers and Boden seem to fit partly as they do petite (though not all their petite fit.)

It seems that ALL clothes are £££ now - I'm not into really cheaper stuff like H&M etc, Zara as they are too young for me, so I tend to buy Hush, Boden, J Lewis own brand, The White Company, some White Stuff and very occasionally Mint Velvet.

My motto is buy only from Vinted, bargains are available. They sell all the good brands you listed at much cheaper prices.

Yes but they give 20% off regularly. I done know why they just don’t price at 20% lower in the first place. I find sizes can be odd too! I always buy in the sale but too many quirky patterns for me !
