I am mystified as to why anyone with her money, and presumably access to advice, would wear that awful dress! It simply didn’t fit. She could not do it up and even DH noticed the very obvious VPL. Doesn’t anyone on Only Connect just say “No”?

I didn’t see it but she probably doesn’t care what anyone thinks about the way she looks or how she dresses. Even your husband.

She’s a clever and successful women and I cant imagine her being told what she can or can’t wear.

I did notice the dress yesterday, and was a bit surprised she wore something that gaped as it did - it didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the show.

I imagine because she likes it. She doesn’t need advice, she’s been appearing regularly on tv in dresses for years and years.

I meant my DH is not caring that much about clothes or what women look like! However on tv it’s more noticeable. My question is really why doesn’t she get or accept advice?

I think the dress looked like it didn’t fit at the bust when she was sitting down. But there was nothing wrong with it.

And what do you mean 'advice'. Just because someone is on the telly it doesnt mean they have someone dressing them or telling them what to wear. Its a minor TV quiz show, not the Paris runway.
