Victoria Coren-Mitchell - oh dear. Why did she wear that dress on the tv last night?

I am mystified as to why anyone with her money, and presumably access to advice, would wear that awful dress! It simply didn’t fit. She could not do it up and even DH noticed the very obvious VPL. Doesn’t anyone on Only Connect just say “No”?

Well it has enabled one or two of us to express our desire for VCM's husband, so there's that. And even we quite like her!

She had a top on underneath. I thought she looked fine. Then again, I think she'd turn a straight woman so I'm not entirely unbiased.

Most people on telly wear things more fitted than say 20 years ago when VPL or a visible stomach silhouette was not done. Look at Sophie Willan on Sewing Bee, for example.

Her dress didn’t fit to the point it looked scruffy (didn’t notice the VPL but did notice the gaping as I, too, have huge norks).

It’s not about her size. It’s about wearing something that looks scruffy when you’re in a professional situation. Which she was.

Normally I think she looks fab, and I love her taste in fashion.
