Is this a suspender belt, or a item in its own right?

I've seen a few of these and I think they're suspenders, but how would you attach stockings to them?

They just seem to be a strap around the leg, with no clips attached to them?

I'm sure I saw a woman wearing something like this in town a couple of weeks ago, but she was wearing shorts, so I didn't know if it was a fashion item in its own right?

It’s just strapping that mimics stocking tops. It’s decorative, with no practical purpose. It doesn’t hold up stockings .

I've been experiencing a bit of thrush recently, so a friend suggested wearing stockings for a while, instead of tights, hence me looking for suspender belts.

I've seen hold-up stockings, but I'm not convinced vinced they'd stay up.

Stockings are great - no thrush, if you ladder one leg you don't have to throw away the pair, and none of that awful low-slung gusset that cheap tights can have.

When I wore such things (and didn't live in jeans) I swore by stockings.

it would help thrush and cystitis cotton knickers stockings or hold ups

Hold ups do stay up, and are much more comfortable than tights or stockings.
