Could HEMA free BIAB still be causing my recurring eyelid dermatitis and itching?

I am 47 and getting regular issues with sore dermatitis on my eyes.

I had BIAB for 3 years and took it off thinking it could be that.

Ive tried HEMA free BIAB 3 times with no reaction but my eyes are starting to itch and flare up again.

Ive tried changing make up, no perfumed face products, various creams etc but I can't work out what is triggering this reaction.

Im using anti histamine which helps a lot but still my eye lids are wet and itchy.

Has anyone had this and managed to get to the bottom of it? Any nail techs got advice with the BIAB?

Thanks

It might not be that causing the reaction now.
what do you wash your laundry/sheets in?

I’ve been through this and ended up being referred for allergy testing. If you can I’d suggest that as the long term solution.

If you are worried about an acrylate allergy (HEMA is an acrylate), then using a HEMA free gel product is pointless, as there are many, many acrylates and no way to know which one you are allergic to without testing. You're also more likely to develop an allergy to another acrylate once you are allergic to one. HEMA-free means absolutely nothing in terms of allergy to nail products.

If you think you have an allergy to nail products then the only safe way to manage it is to stay away from them.
