and you need some new ones, it might be worth looking at John Lewis. They have this Fantasie one in some GG cups reduced to £11.61 which is a bargain for us that have a larger bust. Most sizes are on offer but if you click the reduced ones the cheaper price will show.

That particular bra is quite generous in the cup size so a cup size down may work

Shame it's underwired as I'm 36GG but hate wires.
My favourite M and S bra is only now available online, tried to order one and it's out of stock online 😪

So after I made my post this morning I went and got dressed only to discover my one and only black bra had got a snapped wire!
So a shopping trip into Bath was on the cards. On my way from the car park to Bravissimo i stopped off in an independent retailer and they wanted £118 for a black bra! (Luckily I got what I wanted from Bravissimo for £37).

Which non-wired M&S one do you rate? I’ve not been able tolerate wires since pregnancy 10 a few years ago. I’ve been wearing Bravissimo, but I find they roll at the band during the day.

I’m only a size 28C or 30B depending on brand but that looks like what most people see as an A. I also struggle to get nice bras. I hate going braless…

@elfindeverano just don’t go too crazy. It sounds like you have a small frame and big boobs are heavy so your back can really suffer! My mum had a reduction because of that because she was in so much pain! Go for a happy handful rather than overflowing! 😁 she’s only a 32” back and petit and was on a G or H cup before she went down to a D or E. She still looks booby!

Is it really that painful? I’m not accusing your mum of lying or minimising her experience, it’s just hard to believe that breasts could be so painful as to make someone want to have an operation.

@elfindeveranoThe back pain was constant and bad enough that she paid several thousand to have the reduction done privately. My frame is proportional to my boobs so I don’t suffer but hers wasn’t and she did. This was in her 60’s so age played a roll but she gained a lot of boob through multiple children so went beyond her natural range I think.

As someone with a small frame in a 32GG the grass is not always greener as they say!
