@SkinnyOatFlatWhiteForMePleaseBarista I don't really know, she's just going into adult sizes. She has some size 34 jeans from H&M so I'd guess a S or XS.

@Terrayn those look good but I'm not paying that much when they might not fit next year!

She would prefer bootcut to wide leg, but wide leg over straight/slim fit.

@24Dogcuddler I don't suppose you know how next children's sizes compare to adult matalan ones do you?

i saw a video of a lady who orders the size 16 in next kids and says they are like a uk 10, she does it so she can match with her daughter, would the older teenage sizes not fit?

Well, now I feel like an idiot! My local site only goes up to a size/age 14 and I didn't check the sizing on the uk site. My mum is going to order and send her some. Thanks @ABH100

I am a size 10/12 or 40 in Zara and age 15 or 16 in next kids would be too big.
DD is a 32 in Zara and age 14 are too big at the waist.

Berksha, Zara, Primark etc are good for adult length but smaller waist. M&S do a nice jersey trouser but unsure if small enough although do come in various leg lengths.
