An autumn jacket or mac and what is Borg material?

I’m petite What I need is a jacket or rain Mac for autumn. Just to the waist or I’m swamped even with petite. this came up, though not sure it actually is petite. Unfortunately I need button or press stud as can’t do zips. I do look at non petite for macs.
Wrong for this board but function just has to take priority S&B. Finding anything is a miracle

Can anyone tell me about a material called Borg. Found a Jacket at M&S. Have googled expecting some Star Trek, just wondering how heavy it is?

I would describe 'Borg' as a bumpy, fuzzy teddy bear like material. It can be heavy. It does start to lose its bumpy pile look after a while too, which you may or may not like. I would say this is something to look at in store rather than online.

It’s teddy material. It won’t be waterproof or water resistant if that’s what you’re looking for.

Also find Borg deteriorates quickly and certainly after washing/cleaning, it never gets that fluffy/ cosy thickness back again

Depending on your exact size, you might find children’s wear works for you, eg these from M&S (I’m 5”1, size 10, age 15-16 is roomy on me)

What about a cropped trench? I'm sure I've seen those in M&S.

There are loads of waist length trenches in the sales at the moment, so you should be able to pick something up.
