I bought a pair of shoes on vinted. Professional seller, bnwt. I paid more than I usually do on Vinted as they were labelled as leather. They have arrived (wrapped well, but not in a box) and I really like them but they are leatherette, not leather. I've messaged the seller and they replied that they have sold at least 15 pairs the same without anyone complaining and that the shoes are leather. They have said I'm welcome to return them if I wish. As a pro seller, I have more rights to do this, but need to check about return fees.
I'm a bit torn in what to do and as an irregular user, not sure of the etiquette. I do like and will wear the shoes but wouldn't have paid the price I did if I knew they weren't actually leather. Suck it up?
