i like the green one but am not v good at guessing what colours suit which skin tones! i know that my sister and i suit red which makes me think that is a colour for darker tones. my fairer sister suits greens and natural colours!

schneebly · 28/06/2008 10:36

I am liking the green too actually and dont really think red is an option with my pink cheeks

Think the second one in plum is nice for your colouring (am v similar colouring to you from your description and that colour looks good on me).
They are all quite evening-y in style, look a bit like black tie dresses, can you add a summery shrug and accessories (hat, strappy sandals, pretty bag) to make it more of a wedding outfit?

Pannacotta · 28/06/2008 10:37

The grees IS nice but does look bit dark for a wedding IMHO.

schneebly · 28/06/2008 10:41

pannacotta - you may be right about the plum one. I do have clothes in those kind of tones and they do suit my colouring - accesories wise I was going to go for a brighter colour for bag and shoes and maybe a fascinator? What do you think?

Sounds good, though have to say for me fascinators are a bit old lady-ish. HOw about pinning up your hair if long or adding some pretty flower type hair decorations?

schneebly · 28/06/2008 11:26

yes flowery things would be nice - dont want to look old-ladyish

Have seen some pretty hair decorations in Accessorize, you could try there.
Monsoon also great for dresses suitable for weedings...

schneebly · 28/06/2008 12:14

yes am going to have a look in Monsoon - we have one in the high street but usually out of my price range - am willing to push the boat out for this wedding though! Last time I saw most of the people there I was 8 years younger and 3 stones lighter

schneebly you know Monsoon has have great sales, not sure when the wedding is but if its in July it might be worth the wait?
Also Principles has some pretty dresses, some already in the sale, worth a look?

Pannacotta · 28/06/2008 12:46
