Hello, looking for suggestions for a "day bag" to take on holiday
It needs to fit water bottle, cardigan, food, other stuff for my kid! So fairly big
Not a handbag or feminine style. I'd like a rucksack style
Strong so it lasts and can hold a heavy bottle of water etc, but not a hiking bag or solid shape, I want to be able to squish it under the seats on the plane!
Waterproof would be great too!
Any suggestions?

You should have a read of this thread op, although I can see I’m too late!

That's one person. There are threads running to 40 pages every Roka January sale.

I use a big Kipling Alvar bag… lots of pockets and lots of room.

Isn't that the Roka Lucky Dip they do where you can ask for a S/M/L then they select one at random and hope you like yellow 🤣?

I have a Finchley which is similar, different front pocket. They are great bags!

I have a small Rika Finchley too. It's the perfect size bag.

I’d go for a lightweight roll-top or soft rucksack with a waterproof outer. Something around 20–25L should give you plenty of room for a bottle, cardigan, food and kids’ bits without being too bulky under the plane seat.
