Have HD brows made you more attractive?

I have never had my brows done. I am 41, and I would love to have a more defined face. Can anyone recommend a natural yet defined look? Or eyebrow treatment?

Ive never had HD brows but I find having my brows shaped and tinted, or even just pencilling them makes such a difference.

So agree with everyone saying it's just a tint and shape. I had expecting miracles and it was just ...well, a tiny and shape

I got ultra realistic brow tattoos. Lasts around 3 years and then need a top up. You would never know as each ‘hair’ looks completely natural and doesn’t have the harsh/block look of HD brows. Means I don’t have to do anything with them and they look full and natural.

I may have been unfair. The "HD brows" look I'm thinking of, which a lot of the young women around here had a few years ago, consisted of thick eyebrows which had been painted over with dark make-up (liquid eyeliner?) and lined on the outside with a dark eyebrow pencil. I was really not a fan of that look.

HD brows can be a lot. I have a regular eye brow dye and shape, but my eyebrows are totally white now so it restores some structure to my face. They last 4 to 5 weeks, a little less if I swim every day.
Have a chat to a nice beautician, start with a shape and see what they can offer (and if they do it well)

I can't help associate the dark, heavy HD eyebrows with the type of people who also wear fake tan, fake lashes, fake nail and a lot of make up and have 'Turkey teeth'...

And I am really not a fan of that look.

I assume that if it can also be done to look more understated though.

If it lasts 3 weeks, that's good going.

I know it's a big ask to expect eyebrows to make your face beautiful 🤣 but the defined look is still attractive.

I don't have HD Brows, much too stark for me, my fair hair and natural look, but I do have my brows tidied and tinted and I think that makes quite a difference. I always make a point of telling them I want them very natural, just dark enough so you can see I actually have brows!

Me too. I had no idea what HD brows actually entailed. It's a broad spectrum.

💯 Just have to accept that certain looks may not suit everyone, and you need to stay close to what naturally looks good on you. People are generally looking for a natural definition.

For me, the tint starts wearing off after 2-3 weeks; I go about every 5-6 weeks on average. In between, minimal plucking/trimming to keep them looking - well - not wild.

It's clear that a lot of people think "HD brows" means the heavy, thick, solid look. Which it isn't... you can get that look with HD Brows but you can get it other ways as well. "HD Brows" markets itself as a bespoke process (so only "qualified" people can offer it, I think it's trademarked) which is trimming, tinting, waxing, threading, tweezing and then make up to fill any gaps. This is why I like it - when I used to get them waxed, it was a very solid outline; threading and tweezing give a much more natural result but are a lot more painful than waxing!

I started off waxing, then over time switched to threading, then added a tint, then eventually went to HD and I wouldn't go back now, despite the judgey comments above from people who are talking about something different... But it is more expensive than a "standard" tint and shape, which might be a better place to start anyway!

If you go to a good semi-permanent eyebrow person they will tailor them to your face shape, preferred eyebrow shape and colour. They can even do hair strokes so they look very real. I got mine done years ago when my eyebrows were thinning due to my thyroid. They are great, wouldn't be without them now. They definitely make me look less washed-out.
