In need of ideas for a hat

Hi mumsnetters, I come to you looking for help.

We're going away on holiday next week and I need a hat. I have a bucket hat, a wide rimmed summer hat and a cap. None of them suit me.

I'm a big girl, early 50s, and like to wear tops and Capri leggings or dresses to the knees with patterns.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what might suit? I'm thinking even going down the headscarf route if hats don't work for me.

Wear the wide brimmed hat. People always think hats don’t suit them, but that’s generally because you’re simply not used to seeing yourself in them. Wide brimmed summer hats tend to suit everyone, unless they’ve got a particularly small head. IMO, as another ‘generously proportioned’ woman, a wide brimmed hat also helps to balance out proportions.
