Summer Wedding - How to style this dress?

Hi all, I’m attending a wedding next week & I’ve just bought this dress to wear. It’s a church wedding followed by a home reception.

I envisioned a rattan style bag & perhaps mesh heels but unsure if this seems too plain?

Should I be covering my shoulders for a church wedding & if so would an evening wrap style shawl suffice?

I’d appreciate any input on how you’d style this.. Thank you!

Yes a shawl / pashmina for church or if cooler weather by then a cropped jacket or cardi would be nice in the pale yellow of the flowers.

I love the dress, the shoes, and the bag goes too, plus you will get lots of usage out of all afterwards,

Definitely cover your shoulders for church, a floaty lightweight shawl would be ideal.

I would add a fascinator (I know)🙄

You wouldn't need a cover up in my (v traditional) CofE church for reasons of respect, but you might feel chilly. I never do so wouldn't need anything. I don't think the dress needs anything added - it's lovely as is!
