Apart from the order confirmation email…
I ordered direct from company as it had 20 % off
but I could have ordered from Next / Debenhams.
There is no phone number on the website and have messaged twice via their contact form, emailed and messaged twice via instagram.
it appears a small company, only 28k followers on instagram.
Of course the money has left my account! Very annoying.
Have I been scammed?? But you can order their stuff via Next.
Anyone got any suggestions?

Which company?

TheMaidofOrleans · 18/08/2026 20:00

I was not sure if I could name?

A lot of people leave critical comments on the face book site of companies and they are usually quick to sort things out. You could try that. It is so annoying when things are delayed so I hope it arrives quickly. Also have you put the name into google and ask for a phone number. If you can find the name of the CEO they should have their details available.

GarlicAnywhere · 18/08/2026 20:08

Sure you can name.

Bit of a guess - is it Threadbare? Nice stuff but I've had issues with promised early deliveries that then kept getting pushed back. No sign they're dodgy, more like a messy pipeline that they should've sorted out by now.

In case it is Threadbare: People report ambiguous experiences with order processes, reflecting a split opinion among consumers. While many reviewers praised the simple ordering, fast delivery, and great products, others experienced severe issues. Some customers received wrong sizes or lost packages, facing lengthy refund delays and frustrating cancellations.

Did you Google the company and look at trustpilot reviews? What did they say?

TheMaidofOrleans · 18/08/2026 20:17

It’s Raffya - did not look at trust pilot but have now- one awful review this month and previous review was one last year.

Is it being delivered by Evri? They’ve been particularly bad lately.

BloomersAreIn · 18/08/2026 20:28

Is the website you used definitely genuine? Even if the company is, people can reproduce a website with a slightly different address.

Tralalalalatata · 18/08/2026 20:28

Try complaining on the public Instagram posts. I had to do that with a Spanish company and it was the only way I could get a response.

TheMaidofOrleans · 18/08/2026 20:30

All I received was an order confirmation email saying it was preparing my order.
it has not even been dispatched.

Oh dear, OP. It's a pain that we have to keep double-checking, but this is a feature of the 2020s.

Raffya seems real, in that their domain was registered to a Hertfordshire owner in 2022. The return address is a logistics handler in Crawley. Reading between the lines of their 'About Us', they are probably relying on small manufacturers or home workers in South Asia, which can easily go wrong with little margin for errors.

I do hope your purchase turns up and you like it 🤞

I second chasing them via social media. Wrong as it is, even huge corporations often respond quicker that way.

The website I looked up was https://raffya.com.

Yes that was going to be my next move- but not sure how to do it 😁 Do I tag them and put it in my stories or summat?

Just comment on their own Instagram posts. I would comment on several.
