What colour cami or pattern works with tomato red culottes?

I’ve got these culottes in a bright tomato red.

I already have them in the blue colour and love them as they’re very flattering on me.

I wear the blue ones with a white cami for holiday evenings, but what colour cami would look good with the red bottoms?

I’d even like a bit of a pattern maybe but struggling to find a colour that would look good with this shade of red.

White, cream, beige, black

Black

Breton stripe in black or navy.
Fuchsia
Red
White
White with gold stripe or other gold detail
Black
Black with bold white flowers/ geometric pattern

Navy with a white stripe

A matching red cami or waistcoat. Red on red is a great look.

There’s a brilliant app based on the Japanese dictionary of colour which might be helpful - it’s called WS Colour.

And then there’s also a woman on insta who creates outfits based on that dictionary of colour, she’s called @theKatieHarrell. I find it really interesting, inspiring and creative and it’s given me a completely different way of life to king at colour and outfits.

A dark brown / mahogany or black. But I think they’re a bit Ronald McDonald tbh.

Purple - as worn by Diana posing in front of the Taj Mahal and Meghan Markle to something or other. It’s a great combo.

Depends what colours suit you, for my colouring I would go for a cream or beige, or a cream & red stripe if you can match the colour.
Black or white would also look nice too

Baby pink would be super trendy or something like the following?

I agree with baby pink (or black) but leopard print also looks amazing with red.

I adore leopard print and that was my first thought, however I unfortunately have wonky teeth, thin hair and bingo wings, I can look a bit ‘cheap’ if I’m not too careful and worried the combo of leopard and the bright red might be a bit much.

Those photo ideas look great though.
