Stargazing · 28/06/2008 22:26

Ahem. I bought those shoes a few weeks ago in black after lots of chat on here about it. I even (blush) went to Paris to get them as they were not available in my size in the UK

They are divine. And, more importantly, I am divine when I wear them

so Harrods lady, stick that up your faffola.

DarthVader · 29/06/2008 09:16

Stargazing how deeply glamorous

I love those shoes but my high heel wearing days are over

And my days of being able to afford them are yet to come

I am only pretending to be glamorous, though ... when I bought them, I was wearing £11 worth of Primark clothes ... I also gave myself away as skint skum by getting my husband to document my purchase in photos... prompting the snooty sales ass(istant) to sneer "your first Louboutins?"

then I wore them to a party that night with topshop jeans ... and spent most of the night siting down...

then I wore them to a wedding the following week with a karen millen dress (bought off ebay)... the reception was on grass ... I sank 3 inches out of 5 with every step, which made for something of an ungainly walk.

deeply glamorous? moi? I think not.
