I’m 46, perimenopausal and in need of a boost. I can no longer get away with no make-up and I’m too lazy to do it every day. I’m thinking top and bottom eyeliner and lips. I’m on the Welsh borders and can access Hereford/Ludlow/Shrewsbury/Cardiff areas if anyone has any recommendations for a good therapist.

If you can get to Cardiff look up The art of permanent makeup-Natalia Urbanska on facebook. I highly recommend her eyeliner.

I highly recommend Max Deseta, Clifton, Bristol. He has a waiting list of around 5 to 6 months, but he's well worth waiting for.

Clifton isn't too far from Cardiff.

I started with lop blush a few years ago and I absolutely loved it.
Im 61 and it has given definition and colour to my lips without looking fake.
I've had eyeliner done as well, again that's been brilliant.
I would say do it!

follow byLaurenMcDermott on Instagram. She’s in that area somewhere and she has little things done. She also used to work for Bobbi brown and does lovely make up. She’s worth a look for some recommendations 😊

I have a lip blush best thing l have ever done, l have thought about getting my eyebrows done but haven’t got round to it. I am too scared to get eye liner because it’s too near my eye.

I have lash liner instead of eyeliner which is more subtle but I absolutely love it. When I go on holiday I have my lashes and brows done and wake up everyday needing minimum intervention!
