Anti Pickpocket Handbags

I'm going on a city break later this year and I'm thinking of getting one of those anti theft handbags to deter pickpockets, has anyone used one that they would recommend? I'd like it to be cross body style, reasonably roomy and black if possible. Many thanks.

I use a Uniqlo cross body bag, someone could cut the straps but unless you’re wearing a cross body bag with a metal chain most others could be too.
Anyway I’m happy with it because i just want to be hands free at all times and this has a nice comfortable wide strap that doesn’t dig in. It’s also surprisingly roomy for a compact bag.

Pacsafe and travelon are the 2 big brands I think.

I have the pacsafe go crossbody and a pacsafe go square crossbody. I prefer the ‘go’ because it fits way more in there - can have an umbrella, tissues, phone, hand sanitiser, passport, purse, power bank and cables in there without any problem. An umbrella won’t fit in the ‘go square’. Both have good anti-theft fastenings though, easy to undo when you know how but secure if you don’t/are an opportunist thief!
