Where to get DECENT but not too expensive kids shoes??

laredoute... some nice shoes but £30/\340 and I need 2 pairs so too much

Have you tried mothercare. I bought DDs summer sandals from there and am most pleased. They have a diagram on the sole so you can see if they are the right fit.

On a similar theme, does anywhere do sandals from a size 3 for a walking running 15mo with teeny weeny feet? Clarks start at a 4 in sandals and 'shoes' look silly with summer outfits...

clarks do a range called doodles which are only about £10 and are very sweet/slightly groovy, more so than square clarks! They don't last like clarks square shoes do, but for boys with growth spurts and challenging shoe behaviour, they are great! I think this is probably only for littles only (mine are 4 and 2 and loved the shoes!)
