Sunglasses that fit over prescription glasses

Has anyone bought sunglasses that fit over your normal prescription glasses and are you happy with them?

I keep having adverts for them pop up on Instagram and Facebook and I would like some but don't know which companies are ok. The 2 main ones that I see are Bloombelle and Saint Eyewear.

Any experience or recommendations?
Thanks!

In Italy I saw some fantastic looking prescription glasses in lots of different shapes and styles. They all had matching tinted lens that fitted on the frames by tiny magnets rather than clip onto the prescription frame on the bridge. Is that what you mean? Otherwise the other ones that I’ve seen here are the goggles that go over the whole glasses. These ones are not particularly comfortable and are very clunky but do the job.

I don’t suppose you would remember any of the brand names @Pushmepullu ?

I have some of the Eco brand which others pps have also mentioned, but always looking for options for my next pair. 🤓

I bought some cheap clip on sunglasses and they are crap....... The lenses keep falling out of them so today I bought a branded pair from a well known online marketplace.

I probably can't tell you the brand name but they are a national chemist!

I have some glasses that came with magnetic sunglasses and magnetic yellow driving glasses.

Very happy with them, though I've accidentally knocked off the sunglasses a few times.

I did get the Bloombelle ones on a 2 for 1 thing, after also seeing ads for them online 😳 and have worn them a lot over this summer. They are pretty light as a PP says but that means it doesn't feel like you are wearing two pairs of glasses (even though you are). I've found them very comfortable to wear. I don't think they'll last forever but I think they are great for the price.

My glasses are made by Mint Magnetic.

I have the amazon ones. My normal glasses are reactor light, but don't work while driving. Yes I know they do ones now that do work behind glass and I have tried them but found them a pain indoors sometimes so went back to the regular reaction lens. Due to migraines I'm quite light sensitive so wanted something darker for driving.

I've found them comfy and have occasionally forgoten to take them off when getting out of the car.

Both myself and DH have eco brand glasses. We bought via our opticians. I like having the option but i probably don't use the clip ons as often as i shd. He finds that the clip ons being polarised can impact driving especially around the edges of vision. Otherwise all good.

I had these a few years ago. They worked fine but did look a wee bit gorky as there's a small gap between the two lenses, and it also felt a bit weird looking through them so I didn't wear them enough to justify the cost of the tinted lenses and the magnets fitted to my prescription. I don't have to worry about that anymore, though, after recent cataract surgery which has given me new lenses in my eyes and A1 eyesight 😊
