Felt Birkenstocks in winter?

I have my eye on Birkenstock clogs in the felt wool material, according to the description they are suitable for all weather. How will they fare in rain and wet weather?

I use mine as house shoes. I'd imagine that they would sick up water outside

I’ve had them through autumn/winter. I wouldn’t wear them in the pouring rain or for a country walk necessarily , but pottering around, meeting friends for coffee etc absolutely.
