How many packs of beautyworks nanobond hair would you get for someone with fine hair and who wanted to add volume and length?

Or anyone that gets extensions? I’ve been given a quote for a full head and working it out on the beautyworks website, he must be ordering 5 packs which seems too many?

bookishandhappy · 03/08/2026 19:03

I get 150g in my fine hair.

Go to a salon and ask for their input.

Overtheatlantic · 03/08/2026 19:10

I get 1 pack and that does both sides. It cost £100 for the pack.

bohnerific69 · 03/08/2026 19:25

That’s interesting. I was quoted (after going into a salon for a consultation) just over £1000 for a full head but a pack is like £220ish on beautyworks website so he was clearly going to order way too much. I don’t really get it.

Beauty works hair is expensive.

I pay £400 for a new set of extensions and a fit, but the fitting is always discounted for the new set.

bohnerific69 · 03/08/2026 19:28

He said it was £150 to fit them and that I’d get a pack of products (I assume shampoo, conditioner and heat protection) aswell which was about £60ish on the beautyworks website too. Seems like he was marking up the hair loads to make himself more money maybe?

@bookishandhappy£400 a pack?

@bookishandhappy£400 a pack?

£400 for a head of hair.

£800 for beauty works hair isn’t extortionate

bohnerific69 · 03/08/2026 19:42

No, £800 isn’t but I was quoted £1050. The packs are maximum £226 so he must’ve been saying he was going to order 4 packs. That’s way too much🤷‍♀️

Says who?

bohnerific69 · 03/08/2026 20:06

Says me, I’ve had extensions before and I didn’t need 4 packs then which was when my hair was thicker🤦‍♀️

Well that’s exactly why you’ll need more, especially nanos to add volume?

You’ve said you were quoted £1050, minus £150 to fit them and £60 for the care. So £840 for the hair alone. That’s just under 4 packs for £226 a pack, or about 185g of hair.

It’s probably going to be 3 packs, realistically, so 150g of hair. That’s totally normal. When you use expensive hair it’s obviously going to be a lot. But 200g of hair isn’t out of the realms of possibility.

bohnerific69 · 03/08/2026 20:12

It was £1050 just for the order from beautyworks so £150 was on top of that. £990 for the hair then if you take away the care. So 4 packs…

OP posts:
bohnerific69 · 03/08/2026 20:13

I’d accept 3 packs but it’s clear he’s just trying to make extra money off me. Which would be fine if he just said that he was charging more for fitting rather than pretending I need 4 packs when I don’t.

Okay, 200g is again a normal amount of hair to put into someone’s head.

If you’re so certain you don’t need it, why are you even asking? Nanos are tiny and by having a full head of them you can fit more in, so of course it’ll be more hair.

Whatever he orders on your behalf is legally yours so I don’t know what you think he’s going to do? Unless you’re suggesting he’s going to order 4 packs and then keep one for himself?

BillieWiper · 03/08/2026 20:25

Well ask if you can order the packs yourself if you're scared he's over ordering and using them on someone else. If he's nothing to hide I don't see the issue? But he has to charge a reasonable amount for his time.

Also over ordering and using them for other people doesn’t make sense because it doesn’t make him any extra money

Saintsgirl7 · 03/08/2026 20:45

I used to have 200g in my fine hair for length and volume.

I guess he could take the money for them twice ifykwim? Like tell other client he needs to buy for her but he's already got them off OP? But if she thinks this she shouldn't use him.

I wouldn't be going to anyone who uses Beautyworks hair as they are really poor quality now. Have a look at some of their trustpilot reviews. There are also loads of social media videos from people who have shared their experiences of how bad the hair is
