Critique my routine - for wrinkles and sagging!

How can I improve my skincare routine? Are there any brands that are more effective? I'd like to use only cruelty-free products. I'm 50 years old and really starting to wrinkle and sag.

  1. Wash: Tropic Skincare face smooth
  2. The Ordinary multi-peptide eye serum on eye area
  3. The Ordinary multi-peptide + HA serum on rest of face and neck

Morning:

4 Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Bakuchiol Eye Cream

5 Simple Age Resist Day Cream SPF15 on face and neck

  1. SPF50 sun cream

Night:

  1. The Ordinary Granactive Retinol 2% Emulsion on face, avoiding eye area)

5 BYBI Bakuchiol Eye Cream

  1. Simple Age Resist Night Cream on face and neck

Which brands would be more effective? Are there any tricks I'm missing?!

Thank you

The best thing I’ve ever done for my skin is prescription tretinoin. It’s the most affordable and effective thing with plenty of evidence behind it. It’s the one thing I wouldn’t give up after sunscreen.

There is no cream you can put on your face that will treat sagging unfortunately.

I used to like the Ordinary but don’t rate them so much now.

I am not convinced eye creams do anything special.

I have found a few products I enjoy and that I think suit me and try not to faff otherwise.

I use warm water to cleanse in the morning and Evolve Gentle Cleansing Melt in the evening (twice if make up on).

I use La Roche Posay Anthelios 400 UV Mune SPF which is generally top rated everywhere.

My skin can be a bit red and dry, so I use an Evolve Pro Ectoin moisturiser in the AM and an Anua PDRN hyaluronic cream post SPF but before make up.

In the evening I use Renew and Me with prescription tret, including my orbital bones. Then either a hyaluronic serum or mask and I quite like the l’Occitane Divine face cream, but it makes my eyes funny so I don’t use it under them.

Sometimes I sleep with a hyaluronic mask under my eyes and on my chin, areas that get dry, and it pumps them up well. The Evolve one is good for that. Another I like for all over which doesn’t need washing off is the Rodial one.

This with knobs on.

If there was it would be really expensive and rich people would all be using it. Instead rich people have surgery (and often end up looking odd) because ultimately no face cream is going to turn back time.
