Looking for a stylish black coat and workwear inspiration

I am moving to a new city and starting a new role in September, and I'd like to refresh my wardrobe a bit.
I'll be working at an independent school, so I'm looking for stylish but practical workwear. In particular, I'd love recommendations for a great black coat for autumn/winter, as well as jumpers, trousers, shoes, dresses and skirts that look polished but not necessarily overly formal.
I'm thinking of a smart black wool coat, but open to other ideas.
Where are you buying your favourite workwear at the moment? Any brands, specific items or outfit ideas very welcome!
I'm in my 30s and would prefer good-quality pieces that will last rather than fast fashion.
Budget: happy to invest in a coat, but looking for a mix of price points for everything else.

I have a lovely classic black wrap coat from the Curated. Workwear trousers wise I’ve got a mix- Uniqlo, Cos, Maje and some from Toteme (bought on sale but I love them). Shirts- Essentiel Antwerp, With Nothing Underneath, Joseph. Knitwear- Uniqlo, arket, cos, Rohe. Shoes- some good loafers, ballet flats and low block heels- Esska, Toteme, Aeyde. Skirts- I mostly get vintage. Blazers- Maje, Rohe, Sezane. Dresses- Cos, Me&Em. I buy some pre loved, some new.
