The collar is quite girly - how old is the boy in question?

not at all. Unless he's about 15

I was thinking of getting it for my two year old.

IMHO it is too girly for the full 1-5 age range they cover but quite sweet up to say, 3. I can't imagine sending a 5 year old to school in it though!

Jesus!! How much?! I have something similar for ds but it was 50p in a charity shop (and not bright orange....ick)

I would shun the whole company for their poor copy, tbh, and then write to them to tell them why. No blardy standards these days, that's half the problem.
