What colour shoes and handbag?

I can't make the decision...I have just bought this black pencil skirt

and this top

Should I wear black shoes and handbag or bright pink? with a black hat. I have both. If I go for black shoes and bag could I get away with a cream hat and pashmina? Its for a wedding in July, a civil ceremony.

Sorry to disagree TMMJ - I wouldn't go for a colour because your top is a print and IMHO I think colour would clash.

Personally I'm with Trinny and Susannah on the "put colour with colour" thing - well, most of the time.

One of thise nice 2 tone black and white hats would be lovely.

I must admit I am veering towards black because I won't be holding my bag all day and will prob look daft with just pink shoes... if I go with black should I wear a black hat too? or do you think cream would be ok with a cream pashmina?

Well there is white in the print so cream may be difficult but then again it might be fine - only you can tell when you put it altogether.

Do you know what I mean by the two tone hats?

I have seen them today yes, and whilst they would look good I was going to borrow a black hat from the MiL because I don't want to spend out on one when it will only be worn once.

The top doesn't look as white in the flesh, more an off white, I'll have to try it on with the cream hat I have.

I would wear big earrings, but then I'm a big earrings type of person, rather than a big necklace type of person IYSWIM - I do think that you need to keep it all quite simple because of the print.
