Stretching the subject to it's limits - what do I wear for a day in the woods doing craft/lighting fires etc?

I'm really struggling - it's for tomorrow

Lightweight trousers

Long sleeved shirt over vest top

Hat? or will it be very shady

What shoes? (I don't have many - wellies are no good I guess - bit too hot)

I don't have this sort of lifestyle (maybe I should have posted in Camping)

layers!

Yes to lightweight trousers and vest top and long sleeved shirt over top.

Depending on how dense and thick the wood is, there may be mozzies and all sorts of insects, so have some spray/cream handy.

Socks and trainers even, as flip floppy sandals could let things nip you, insects and sticks etc.

Hat useful to keep you shaded if woods not very shaded and keep hair off of face.

It sounds like a fun way to spend a day!

Don't own trainers I have funny (allergic) feet

Moccasins are the best I can do I think

Can't use repellent either - so I guess citronella oil

I lent my hats to someone (bummer)
