Non-clingy gym tops for size 20

I am joining the gym again after a ten year lapse and am double the size I was back then, so I am looking for moisture-wicking gym tops in size 20.

But, everything I’ve looked at is clingy. Nothing seems to skim and float without looking like a tent and making me look even bigger - and if I raise my arms up it exposes my midriff which is an absolute no-no.

I don’t want to spend a lot as I have no intention of staying this size for much longer, so budget is maybe £30 max. each. Happy to look at Vinted etc but only if I can identify any brands that fit the bill - nothing clingy!

I just wear loose tee-shirts. Nothing fitted because it’d be too hot.
Start off with something cheap and cheerful. Look at what others are wearing & take your queue from that?

Matalan do some generously sized, and long in the body, gym tops. Quick to wash and dry too. Not pricey either.

I wore men’s tops because they are longer

I’m a size 18 and I’ve been wearing these vest tops from next which I’m finding very comfy and not tight at all. They wash well too and not too expensive. Slouch V-Neck Vest

Beware Decathlon - good kit, tiny sizes

I wear a cami/gym top and over it £2.50 men's relaxed cotton t shirts from Primark. I cut the neck off into a deeper neckline then pull it to roll it because it's much more flattering and I don't like things round my neck. Mainly black. I thought they wouldn't last but they've been through loads and loads of washes.

On the whole yes as men have a longer body to leg ratio, but be aware their shoulders are generally much broader so you might find the sleeves are a bit "over your elbows"
