Please help me find a suit for my wedding!

I’m getting married in 6 weeks and thought I had my suit sorted, but it turns out the trousers aren’t the same colour white as the jacket (I thought they were sold as a suit from the same place as the photos gave that impression!)

Ideally I’m looking for a white skinny/slim fit trousers to wear with heels, and a single breasted jacket that’s long enough to cover tummy (not cropped)

I’ve searched online and can’t find anything suitable, especially as wide leg trousers are in favour currently!

Skinny trousers will be really difficult to find. Most bridal trousers are wider. They tend to look less like day wear.

Could you buy wide leg and get them altered?

That’s really difficult with the cut on wider trousers. They rarely can be reduced in width successfully as they tend to be a fluid fabric. ASOS seems to have 1 pair of bridal cigarette trousers. Not sure if the jacket shown is available.

@EleanorMc67 None of those are skinny fit. Straight is not skinny. It’s just not what is sold for weddings. I would think linen would be awful too.

The OP said that ideally she wanted skinny - or slim. Several of those are slim-legged, not straight - & most are crepe or a variant thereof, not linen.

And, of the straight-legged ones, I chose those that I thought could potentially be altered most easily to slim them down. The issue is that she has six weeks in which to find her outfit, & the likelihood of getting exactly what she wants in both jacket AND trousers is slim (pun intended).

As you say, it's much much easier to find very wide trousers in wedding suit combinations - almost like divided skirts in a lot of instances. So finding a jacket she loves - & then getting the matching trousers tailored to fit exactly as she wants - is probably the most achievable solution in the time available (unless she is lucky enough to find a slim-trousered combination that doesn't need tweaked).

How about a made to measure suit from Sumissura? They say 3 weeks.
