How would you wear/style a very large patterned silk scarf?

I was recently given a beautiful silk scarf. I wouldn't have bought it in a million years, but I love it so want to wear it, I'm just not sure how. It's approx 1.2m square and a deep raspberry with teal fern like print. It's a heavy weight silk and big enough that if i didn't need industrial underpinnings it would make a gorgeous handkerchief top. Insta inspo is limited so any real life suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have a look at the Hermès website for inspiration, OP!

Beatrice Borromeo wearing hers tied to a pony tail; I love this look.

I would wait until it’s cooler then wear it looped around your neck in a chic way (not flung over shoulders) You know - fold half into triangle - middle point at the front and loop the ends around so they hang at the front too

Scarves never quite work as anything else IMO

I think you might be right @GeorgeMichaelsMicStand , but it's so big and heavy, I think I may have to wait for the depths of winter to wear it unfortunately

Seems to be a trend at the moment of wearing it folded in half, maybe rolled a bit if very large, and tied around your waist.
