Vinted removed my genuine trainers listing, should I relist or wait?

Anyone had any experience with vinted deleting their item for being fake?

I want to sell my definitely NOT fake trainers on vinted but I did something silly during the upload process which I think triggered an automatic deletion for being fake. The listing contains all the required info supporting the fact they're not fake (FAR more informative pics than many other listings, I have discovered from browsing other trainers on vinted) and I sent vinted a copy of the order confirmation from when I bought the trainers new.

It's over a week and they haven't responded. If I take the pics again and relist, will this be ok does anyone know? I use vinted a lot and really don't want my account suspended.

(The silly mistake I made was to delete a couple of pics seconds after my listing went live. I did it because they were superfluous - I'd included the same detail twice- and because I had referenced one of the pictures in the info blurb as "the last" picture and realised it wasn't the last picture, because of the superfluous ones following it. In hindsight I can see that deleting pics looks totally dodgy and I completely get why it was flagged up .... I just wish they'd respond to me now!)

Personally I would sell these on eBay. Far too many scammers on Vinted who will claim they are fake when they aren't and you could end up with no trainers and no money.☹️

If you reupload them you’re likely to get suspended.. you could email [email protected] with copy of the reciept / proof of purchase. They’re useless!! They delete my items because theAI bot thinks they are AI. They’re not.. it’s just me and my iPad!!!

I probably wouldn't relist them if the dispute over the original listing is still without resolution, as annoying as that is. Did Vinted give a timescale for getting back to you?

Don't realist them on vinted, the will likely ban your account. You may find your other stuff goes to check in progress for a while, so be careful what you list for a few weeks.

They did this to me last winter with a pair of (real!) Ugg boots. I gave up after two tries and sold them on Ebay instead with no problems and I've listed quite a few items on Vinted since, again with no problems. It's odd when they have so many obvious fakes isn't it?

Yeah they removed my advert for a pair of cycling shoes after someone complained and said the description was incorrect as they weren’t cycling shoes. Funnily enough the shoes were still available to buy from the original retailer and listed as cycling shoes on their website. I re-uploaded and changed the description to trainers and in the blurb put that they were bought for cycling.

When my daughter set up vinted, she had to do 3 attempts before they accepted her stuff as not fake. These were her old clothes, just standard stuff, photos she had taken get. No idea what the problem was but they kept closing the accounts. I assume it was an automated checking thing that picked up some problem.

Giving eBay a go..... I just find things sell quicker on vinted. However good point about scammy buyers. I hadn't thought of that as I'm usually selling cheaper used high street clothing, not unworn, branded trainers.

I was actually going to buy my replacement correct-sized trainers from vinted but so many listings have scant details and pics yet are allowed!

Vinted blocked my account a couple of days ago, because they decided the genuine trainers I posted are fake. I can’t buy or sell now (I’ve only ever posted two things for sale previously, but I’ve bought great things in the past).

I’ve sent them loads of extra photos of the trainers and still haven’t heard back. I can sell the trainers on eBay, but I want my Vinted account back to buy stuff! The customer service is dreadful!
