Eyeliner for someone rubbish at eyeliner

I love the classic cat eye type black flick. I am not great with makeup but I want to teach myself to get good at this. What’s a good eyeliner to practice with? And any tips please.

Just buy buy a Rimmel one to practice and look at a you tube tutorial, I think it helps if you initially use a piece of paper in tje corner of your eye to get the angle right. Although I'm no expert my eyes go slightly down so I've avoided the look Although I fo use eyeliner. Victo Beckham does some amazing eyeliners but they are expensive and you are just learning
