Products for curly haired teen boy

14yo son has announced he would like some hair products. He has never shown any inclination to styling or anything, so keen to encourage a bit of self care and pride in appearance.
He has lovely curls. What products would be good for styling, keeping them looking good? He said sea spray but I saw that dries curls?
Have googled but so many options. I thought I’d ask the experts. Any advice or tips welcome.

It depends what sort of curls he has but i would start with curly hair shampoo and conditioner. Cantu is a good starting place. Then a curl cream and of that isnt enough add a curl gel. The cream and gel should be added when the hair is sopping wet and only a small amount.

Great, thanks! I don’t know what type they are but they are gorgeous. (Mum bias)

Its also worth trying to only wash hair once a week but obviously this isnt practical for all teens depending on greasyness and sportiness. To refresh the curls you just spray with water and add a bit more curl creme or gel if needed.
