Talk to me about peep toed shoes/sling backs etc with sheer tights - yay or nay

Apparently it is not the done thing but what if need the coverage on your legs?

Are those "toeless" tights any good? Sounds like the kind of thing that would end up in disaster on some special occasion to me.

you can NEVER wear over the toe tights with peeptoes! you'll look like a granny.

the toeless ones are ok if you have less than ideal legs. if you have nice legs, no tights if your wearing strappy/toe showing shoes. if the shoes don't show toes then you can wear tights....this is what i've been taught by my mother.
