Looking for a lightweight showerproof jacket with a cardigan feel

Just wondered if anyone has seen this.

I’m going to be travelling for a month in southern Europe in October. I want a showerproof but lightweight hip length full zip jacket that could be a denim jacket or a cardigan if you squinted. I really don’t think this hybrid exists but thought I’d ask…

That's a lot of conflicting needs you have there

Not sure I've got this right, but does it have to be warm? If not...It sounds contrary, but the Uniqlo UV garments might have what you want. I've got one of them and it's quick dry so although they're describing it confusingly as being for UV protection. It did actually have a photo showing that it was slightly water resistant the water kind of shakes off and what does get on it dry quickly

but it's very lightweight and it passes as a normal jacket, it won't pass as a cardigan though! it doesn't look like you're wearing outdoor trekking yeah. You could walk into a café with it on no problem.

The women's ones look waist length but there are some unisex options that are longer

I can pack it up pretty small and put it in a bag but it's very lightweight so it doesn't need to be removed unless it's a very hot day

I want this sort of thing too...not too warm but if it's chilly and so I don't look stupid if it rains.
