What size in inches/waist is a size 12?

as far as i can remember it is 30"

Be careful, low rise or boyfriend jeans sit on the hip so for a size 12 lady you need the "waist" to actually measure 34". All my sz 12 ones have an actual 34" circumference (or 17" across when laid flat).

However, Mama is right. For those brands that use waist measurements instead of sizes then a 30 is a sz 12.
